Review 3/9/2011
I had called this company on March 7th, 2011, intented to purchase Bullion Coins, due to Goldline's company policies, I needed to send in my money first before they can accept any bullion orders so I wire transfered 15K. Upon receipt the sales called me and informed me the availability of funding and to discuss purchase. My Initial intent is to purchase the 1 Oz Maple Leaf coins, just like all other complains they sales person went on the sales trick and provided me fales information: 1. Goldline agent told me I should avoid the 1 Oz Bullion coins because they are reportable

2. It is possible to confiscation of 1933 order.

3. That I should look into the collectors coins because it can not be confiscated.

With above false statements the agent tricked me into buying 1/10 oz ~ 1/2 oz maple leafs where Goldline has approx 35% mark-up on price, each coins valued at approx 1999 spot price.

After doing some reading about gold coins:

1. Fales because I am only purchasing 15 oz of gold and sales report requirements are only on 25 or more per transactions. And the agent never advise me that the 1 oz gold eagles are not reportable regardless of any amount.

2. Just because Roosevelt exempted "gold coins having a recognized special value" does not mean that any future call-in would exempt collectibles. Roosevelt's Executive Order would have no legal binding on another gold call-in. Besides, on December 31, 1974, with Executive Order 11825, President Gerald Ford repealed the Executive Order that Roosevelt used to call in gold in 1933. This was necessary because on the same day Congress restored Americans' right to own gold. Furthermore, in 1977 Congress removed the president's authority to regulate gold transactions during a period of national emergency other than war.

3. Fales, in case of emergencies the government can do anything including changing the law.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
