Stood up! Same experience as the rest of the posts - referred by First American about a broken dishwasher - it would not turn on most of the time and turn off mid cycle the times it did turn on. I called to schedule and appointment but was advised that if the dishwasher decided to turn on when the technician was there he will not do anything more than collect the $55 for the call. I decided to wait and a week later the unit stopped working completely, I called again, a technician came out and said they do not have the right parts, left with a promise to come back by the end of the week to repair it. The end of the week came and went with nobody coming or calling me to update me on the status. I called the next week and was told the part had to be ordered and they will come when it arrives - should be 5 days but they do not really know. I asked about a tracking number for the ordered part but was told that somebody else knows it and they will be calling me back. If I have a choice I will not deal with Accord or First American anymore, I consider First American and its contractors a scam and a bright example of what has gone wrong with the American Business. More development: After they discovered they had the wrong part it is taking them another 2 weeks to order the right part (and its a $12 part available at many appliance part retailers). They have never called us to update on status. Each time we call they feed us the same story - "part will arrive in the next 1-2 days, we will call you" the 1-2 days come and go, nobody calls us, we call them and hear exactly the same story. I told them that if they do not resolve the issue or refund us I will report a fraudulent charge against them with my credit company. They did not seem to care much. They are all a bunch of incompetent crooks from the person answering the phone Charles whose every phone call begins with placing you on hold for a few minutes to see if you will just go away to Alex their part manager who cannot order the right part to save his life, to their other staff that never calls for an update, to their techs who display their level of incompetency while wreaking of cigarette smoke. They all deserve to be unemployed and their business bankrupt.
