Cathy Mantell and Adoption Consultants, Inc. changed our lives!!
From the very first phone call with her to this day, Cathy has been an amazing resource - sensitive, professional, knowledgeable and always available. When we signed up with Cathy, we had no idea how quickly things would move. We were matched with our birthmother just one month after completing our profile and our daughter was born five months later, this past June 2009. Every day we look at her, we are so grateful for Cathy and her team for making our dreams come true.
Every step of the way, Cathy held our hands, took our late-night calls and offered us the guidance and reassurance we needed throughout the process. She was always ready with thorough and honest advice - pointing out both the pros and cons of situations and ensuring that we were comfortable with our decisions. We could not have gotten through this without Cathy's expertise and genuine care for us and our birthmother. When our daughter arrived a week early and we had to fly to California on short notice, she was the first call we received after landing to update us on everything. After our daughter was born, Cathy came to the hospital to meet us and throughout our stay in CA, Cathy checked in on us to see how things were going. And she still keeps in touch now.
Adoption itself can be an overwhelming process - both emotionally and financially - but Cathy was our rock and we relied on her greatly. She never let us down. There is no question too silly, no issue too small or no time when she isn't there. Anytime I get asked about our adoption experience, I pass them Cathy's card and can honestly tell them that they would be in the best hands entrusting their adoption experience to her.
The joy you feel when finally holding your child is only made sweeter by the people who brought you together. We wish you all the best on your journey.
