I Disagree
|
In response to Marie's review, I have to disagree. First of all, The Better Business Bureau is an absolute money making sham. Don't take my word...investigate it yourself. Did you know that Wolfgang Puck was also given an F ??? But guess what? If you JOIN and pay them money you will immediately get an A. Let's move on..The writer states that the baby that they were planning to adopt went to another family...hmmm...I can tell you as an adoption professional unrelated to the Rose's that it was completely the mother's decision. She did not want this family to have her baby. She obviously was not comfortable with them. She had every intention of placing, but after getting to know this family she made the decision to not choose them to parent her child. That was her choice. To demand and expect your money back from the professionals that have done their best to facilitate her is absurd. She states that her profile wasn't shown for a matter of months. There could be a number of reasons for that. Perhaps her criteria was higher than many.....or her personality made it more difficult to locate a birthmother that would "match" with her. In addition, things could have been a little slow for the Rose's or a combination of those mentioned and many other factors. My personal dealings with the Rose's have always been positive. I do realize that adoption is a highly emotional and sensitive business and it doesn't surprise me that there will be a few that aren't happy. Marie doesn't state whether she did, in fact, end up adopting through the Rose's efforts , but it appears by her remarks regarding social services and attorneys that she did. If that is the case, all is well that ends well. The majority of the Rose's clients are very happy with their services.
