As a single parent ,I was very concerned about protecting my adoption money that I had saved for years.
The agency was very clear with me regarding possible refunds and the staff kept me informed as to the expenses regarding my matched birth mother. I understood that the funds spent for the birth mother could not be refunded, how can you refund money already spent on food, rent and personal expenses?
I like this agency because some staff members are adoptive parents and that for me gives peace of mind because they have gone through what I was going through.
Although I do recommend working with this agency, I must also recommend that families be patient and that they too must be proactive in their adoption process.
Be patient and do not listen to those who have not gone through an adoption.
I am saving money to do a second adoption as soon as possible with the same agency.
