Changed my life for the better!
|
ALOT of my hair fell out from medication when I got sick. My hair is EVERYTHING to me and my self esteem was shot. I was walking with my head down and I felt ugly. I cancelled my appt 2 times before I finally walked through the door. I will admit, they called me alot to reschedule but I'm glad they did or I may not have ever went in there. My sales lady was understanding, professional and 100% upfront with me about the initial cost to join and ongoing monthly member fees to care for my hair. She told me it was an investment but I'd get something in return and she was right! This experience has changed my life for the better. I was really nervous after reading all the reviews online but every company has bad and good reviews; from your local gas station and restaurant to your car lot and manufacturer. The matrix that holds my new hair allows me to sleep, shower, swim and ride on a rollercoaster, all while wearing my hair. I love it! It's good quality human hair and I can even curl it. My hair lasts about 3 months and then I have to replace it (included in my monthly member dues). I was told that it wears and I couldn't have the the same head of hair forever. It makes sense though. If I wore the same shirt everyday and washed it, slept in it, went to work in it etc.. it wouldn't last very long. I go in about once a month for a refresher and trim which is ok because I trimmed every month all my life anyways, so that has stayed the same for me. I personally have not experienced a price increase and it's been 10 months now. MY real hair wasn't shaved either, it's braided back on top of my head. Everyone is very friendly and professional. I wont be doing this forever because my hair is growing back and getting healthier now. Before I went to Hair Club, I tried a wig and hated it because it was hot, it moved around, it didn't fit properly and it looked fake. It was super dry and looked like straw. I felt like everyone knew and was staring at me. Sometimes I dont even remember that I'm "wearing" hair. Its become a part of me and my daily routine. The best part is that my scalp can breathe. I read that someone here said they felt like they were wearing a hat because they couldn't feel water on their head. Not in my case. Water goes through my hair and scalp and sweat disappears when I work out. The matrix is a super fine piece of lace/material that hair is sewn into by hand, one piece at a time I'm told. I will probably only be doing this for another 6 months. If I have any issues, I'll let you all know but so far so good. I would recommend Hair Club to anyone who's losing or has lost there hair. Thankfully, its been a wonderful experience for me and I will be forever grateful that my hair and confidence was restored because of them. Thumbs up from the Midwest!
