I have been a loyal user to IMVU since 2007, and all my problems started late 2011, when my account was hacked. I called and called IMVU so many times, but they couldn't do anything to get rid of the hacker. I had to disable my account that I had probably spent over 1,000$ on, and had to start new. Then, BAM! My new account got suddenly disabled for no reason and with no warning. I called and it was banned because supposedly a stolen credit card was used on my account. I filed help ticket after help ticket on a side account, all they told me was the information I already knew, with no help! I started a third main account, in April '12, did not touch it until a few days ago. BAM! got banned for using an illegal version of the chat client, and they saw that it was linked to my 2nd account, they banned it for that reason too! There was nothing they could do to help except for me to file a help ticket. I even asked them to transfer me to the fraud department, but nooo! They couldn't do that! I have spent so much money into this virtual game, it's ridiculous. I'm not spending no more, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to let their kids play it either. It's gone too deep to where it's nothing but money, money, money, instead of focusing on their long-term players that provide them the money. I would recommend for parents not to let their kids on this site and for others not to even bother with it. All it is is a waste of time and a burnt hole in your pocket.
