I break my back working hard to keep food in my family's mouths and a roof over their heads, so when the bank decided they wanted to take my home, I was determined not to let it happen. Hard times can happen to anyone. I was laid off after working for my company for over 18 years. We struggled to scrape by on our savings and my wife's income, but it wasn't enough. We fell behind on our mortgage. I was able to find a new job 5 months later and was more than willing to pay what I owed, but the bank wouldn't take our payments! There they were, telling us they were going to auction our house, but not letting us make payments to prevent it from happening! We must have argued with everyone at that bank, right up to the sale date. Desperate not to let everything go down the drain, my wife called National Attorney Consumer Group on the suggestion of her cousin. I didn't want to have anything to do with them, because I hear about these scam companies all the time, but my wife convinced to listen to what they had to offer. After talking to Joe D., I felt like he was someone I could really trust. And since it was only one day before our sale date, we had to give it a shot. I couldn't believe it, but Joe and his team at NCAG were able to cancel the sale date! The same thing we tried to do by ourselves for months, NCAG was able to accomplish in one day! We are still trying to work out a permanent solution with the bank, with NCAG's help, but for now we are just happy that we still have a home! Thank you Joe and everyone at NCAG for your hard work!
