I was referred to OC Mutual Funding by a friend who had their mortgage note modified thru OC Mutual.When I first contacted them, I was going on 3 months late on paying my mortgage note. The bank had stopped accepting my mortgage payment because I had made some partial payments. When I refinanced into this adjustable loan, I did not understand what I was signing up for. I was on the path to "Foreclosure"!! OC Mutual was able to get my mortgage note modified into a fixed rate, my mortgage payments went down over $500 a month, and the 5 months of missed payments were put onto the back end of the note.
Thru out the entire process I had open communication with the entire staff. They were quick to respond to voice messages, questions and concerns. They explained to me that a loan modification does not happen overnight, that it takes time. I am glad that I stayed with OC Mutual thru the 6 month process.
