Do Not Trust Pillow Pets.com
I ordered a Pillow Pet on Monday, December 12th for my daughter to get on Christmas Day from Santa. In addition to the standard $10 shipping charge, I paid an extra $6.99 to have it shipped within 3-5 days. Guess what, I still do not have my pillow pet for my daughter. I received a confirmation on December 15th that my order was ready to ship and that the estimated delivery date would be December 27th -- after Christmas. When I called the customer service line, I was told that there was nothing that they could do and that they were behind because of the holiday rush. Do they think they are the only online retail store that is busy this time of year? When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told that the supervisor was on the phone will another called. I told her that I would wait for as I long as I needed to. I refused to hang up and waited for 15 minutes before the customer service can back on the line to tell me that the supervisor would not take my call. Instead, I was given an email address to send my complaint to. I received a generic response that my order should arrive by Christmas with absolutely no apology or offer to refund my shipping costs. This is the ironic thing...I live in Massachusetts and according the Pillow Pets website, they are located in New Jersey. My order was shipped to California first instead of directly to me in Masschusetts. Do not order from the company -- they are running a scam. Additionally, they are not certified by the Better Business Bureau.
