This group contacted us about our mortgage over one year ago, at first we dismissed them. At that time they were an A rated company on the BBB. Now they are an "F". We later decided to try them. They took our money immediately, which is now illegal. They may only collect money after the assistance was provided, not before or during. Romel did not want to give us our money back. So... We contacted the State bar of CA. Filed a complaint and sent a copy of our contract and bank statement in showing the date the contract was signed and the date he took our money. Not only did they provide terrible follow up during the process but kept re asking for documents already provided and NEVER return calls or emails. In any event we got every Penney back!! Thank you State Bar of CA. Fight Back. If this group took your money and ran, go to the State Bar of CA website, click on "Attorney Complaints" print out the form, and send it in. Remember the above is true and is a law.
This company preyed on the misfortune of others and took what little money they had and did nothing in return and folks lost their homes in the process. PS we ended up handling our own re mod and did it ourselves. I have a low opinion of attorneys now and will forever be suspicious of them thanks to these thief's who hide behind their credentials to attempt to steal from people who do not know any better and do not have the resources or experience to know how to fight back. Here it is. Your golden ticket. If you paid these people up front, go get your money back. Put them out of business so that it does not happen to even more people.
