RA Law Contacted us and explained that 99% of the time BofA would work out a loan modification. They also said that in the event that they denied said loan mod request, they personally would SUE BofA. Well, NONE of these things were followed through on. Also, when the time came, they referred us to theirr "sister compay", John Hart Realtly Group to assist in getting us a short sale. They were our Lawyer! Aren't they supposed to protect you and fight for you once you've paid your retainer? They said that the Obama Administration had created a program so banks would forgive the difference in funds from the original loan to what the reduced, short sale price was. What RA Law/John Hart Realty failed to tell us, is that WE as the homeowner had to do all of the legwork to get that form approved. I've spent hours upon hours attempting to get a response from BofA on this issue. Also when the short sale was recommended by JHRG they promised we would received $3,000 - $5,000 in "relocation money," Now, after following up on yet another promise, they tell me that BofA did not approve this money, and we will get zip to relocate. This caveat was NOT explained to us in any way when they recommended assisting us in the short-sale. Overall, broken promises ABSOLUTELY POOR communication from ALL employees at this office, and a waste of time.
