Approximately 40 members from our dance company has ordered items from Stars Dancewear and just about everyone has had a negative experience in dealing with this company. As an example, one group of about 15 ordered knee high socks. They were backordered, which is not unusual. But, once Stars got the socks in, they shipped all the socks to one "dance mom" for her to deliver, which she didn't mind, but Stars charged each individual order a separate shipping charge.
One sequined tunic was missing two entire rows of sequins. The mom had to order a second tunic for fear or not getting a replacement in time.
One tie-dyed tunic was received that bled fabric dye all over the dancer wearing the item and anything touching the item.
One mom placed an online order and selected the three-day delivery option, then even after speaking with Stars and confirming the three-day delivery, it was shipped ground and was told by Stars that she was charged an "expedited handling fee" that didn't cover the three-day delivery. It was just for them to handle the order. She's still waiting on the order five weeks later.
Every person who has called customer service with a complaint has been met with rude customer service and a sarcastic attitude of "what do you expect me to do about it" ~ with no offer of making the customer whole. Needless to say, our dancers will not be ordering from Stars again.

The only reason I have given one "star" in this review is because "no stars" wasn't an option.
