Teletrac does not work
As Operation Manager for a small company I rely on tracking software to keep track of my fleet as well as IFTA and Out of state mileage. But more importantly my drivers use the GPS. We run a few tractors and Heavy Duty Tow trucks in our fleet and need to rely on precise GPS to get my trucks dispatched to a specific location in a timely manner. The GPS are suppose to be set up for truck routes and I have been told they are, but a truck route does not send a truck and trailer down a road clearly marked with a 9 foot tall bridge. This is only one example. We have had problems with reports and now two of my units have a red x through them on my desktop manager. My truck is in NY and we are from MA yet it shows the truck sitting in my yard. I am on the phone with Teletrac at least once every other week with issues over the past 5/6 months. The technicians put you on hold and tell you the same thing over and over again. "Unplug the unit and try one from another truck" These screens are brand new. I understand new equipment can have issues, but after calling as much as I have I would think they would know that’s the first thing I would try. For the price we pay and the problems we are having with Teletrac I would never give them another opportunity for our business.

We read this review with great concern and, given that we cannot identify the customer, would ask that they contact Customer Services again and ask to speak to a senior manager. The problems outlined could be the result of a number of issues from defective hardware which is under warranty to perhaps damaged hardware. We would have to investigate the routing issue, but with over 200,000 vehicles tracked we are sure we can resolve any issues if the customer would please call in again so we can narrow down what remains outstanding and regain his confidence.
