I secured a Ordaz Construction to paint the home of some elderly friends of mine (in their late 80's). He gave a bid of $4,000 to paint the ENTIRE EXTERIOR of their 5,000 square foot home. He was scheduled to paint the house in late October, 2010.
The salesman for TOP CONSTRUCTION in glendale (who is not listed in the personnel list of the company on the Contractor's licensing board, cold called my elderly friends right after I told them I had a contractor for them, and LIED, TELLING MY ELDERLY FRIENDS THAT HE WAS THE CONTRACTOR I HAD SECURED FOR THEM.
They proceeded to paint the front of my elderly friends home ONLY and charged them $4,000! The same amount my contractor bid to paint the entire house!
These people are liars and, from the information presented in the previous post concerning an elderly couple and our situation -- they appear to prey on the elderly.
