When I went to have my beloved dog of 16 1/2 years put to sleep on 07/20/07, the people at VCA were so compassionate and kind to me at such a painful time when I needed their compassion the most. The vet was very understanding and told me that I as the owner knew my dog best and when it was time to put her down. She told me to take all the time I needed to be with my dog before she was put to sleep. She was so patient and kind as was everyone there that I interacted with. I could go on and on explaining how wonderful they were to me and my dog in what could have been a very stressful and ugly event. I will always appreciate the vet writing me a condolance note that was so sweet it made me cry. I will always be grateful to VCA for their essentially wonderful "bedside manner" when it came to me having to let go of my dog companion of so long.
